Raja is a calm and shy young male who has been living with us since 2022. His story is one of great misfortune: as a kitten, he fell from a tree and suffered a comminuted fracture to his hind leg, which was so severe that the leg had to be amputated.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for him to be released back into the wild. In the wild, he would be too slow to find food independently or to escape danger. With us, however, he has found a safe haven where he is cared for and protected.
Raja is cautious and prefers to observe from a distance – usually in the early hours of the morning or in the evening. His reserved nature reflects the natural caution he has retained despite everything.
Even without the vastness of the wild, he has a home with us where he can live at his own pace, find peace and simply be himself.
